Overwatch 2 bronze placement bug is INSANE, can't climb? Here's the situation

There's a huge Overwatch 2 glitch / Overwatch 2 bug right now where players are placing in Bronze and can't gain or lose rank. This Overwatch 2 broken ranked bug is actually insane. This is the most interesting Overwatch 2 news today, and this week in general. There was supposed to be an Overwatch 2 sr reset, but it looks like they maybe just reduced everyone's SR by a thousand or more.

Now that some of the other issues are being fixed, this is probably the biggest remaining Overwatch 2 problem. If you got the Overwatch 2 bronze 5 bug, you are not alone, the majority of players seem to be placed in bronze, the real Overwatch 2 competitive bug is the one where some bronze players don't climb when they win games. Hopefully they address this bug soon so players can actually play the game and not feel awful about themselves.
