Kenny Bigbee Jr. joins the ILEETA Learning Lab to preview his 2026 conference course: Weapons-Based Grappling.
In this conversation, Kenny breaks down why every law enforcement encounter is inherently a weapons-based environment and how traditional grappling rules change the moment a firearm, blade, or other weapon is present.
Drawing from his experience as a former Navy SEAL, a 3rd-degree Brazilian Jiu-jitsu black belt, and founder of Killa BEE Tactical, Kenny explains how he pressure-tested this system in real-world environments and why broad stroke concepts outperform rigid techniques under chaos.
This episode delivers value for three audiences:
1. Attendees choosing classes at the conference
2. Trainers on the fence about attending
3. Officers and instructors worldwide who cannot attend but want practical insights they can apply immediately

COURSE CONTEXT
Course Title: Weapons-Based Grappling
