Changes to the 2024 ICD-10-PCS book will be effective April 1, 2024. It is important to note these changes since they are not in the current 2024 books.
Changes were made to 17 different tables, including 12 tables in the Medical and Surgical section and 5 in other sections. For more information, see https://www.cms.gov/medicare/icd-10/2....
Be sure to write these changes in your 2024 ICD-10-PCS books. The changes provide opportunities to report new procedure codes but also entail the risk of reporting old codes that will become invalid this April and therefore will not be paid.
