We’re back with a new episode of the Research Talks Series, and this time we’re delighted to welcome Prof. Alisher Aldashev, an accomplished economist specializing in development and labor economics.
He will present “Market for Lemons in Academia: Adverse Selection with Dynamic Human Capital Formation and Policy Lock-in,” examining how adverse selection can arise in academia, how human capital evolves over time, and why policies may become locked in. Prof. Aldashev earned his PhD from the University of Regensburg and has held academic and research roles at the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) and Satbayev University, with research interests spanning development economics, labor economics, human capital formation, and institutional and policy analysis.
Subscribe for more expert insights on finance and economics.
