Allama Muhammad Iqbal was a poet, philosopher and politician born in Sialkot, whose poetry in Urdu and Persian is considered to be among the greatest of the modern era. Allama Iqbal is known as Muffakir-e-Pakistan ("The Thinker of Pakistan"), Shair-e-Mashriq ("The Poet of the East"), and Hakeem-ul-Ummat ("The Sage of
Ummah"). And recognized as the "national poet" of Pakistan.
Allama Iqbal was highly influenced by his spirtual teacher Jalal ud din Rumi R.A .
Allama Iqbal wrote many books in English, Urdu and Persian which are :
