Battle March (2010) is a majestic, trebly blast of epic folk/black metal hailing from Vukovar, Croatia. As a "brotherly" project with Prognan (both featuring the multi-instrumentalist Kob), the EP balances raw, over-reverbed, raspy vocals with soaring symphonic interludes and a "majestic" riff style that carries a strong sense of battle-hardened pride. Despite its lo-fi, "mechanical" production, the release is a high-potential relic of the Croatian scene, trading modern polish for a pure, spirited atmosphere of war, freedom, and ancient triumph.
