The day has finally come! This is final Panini Prizm EPL release for the foreseeable future as Fanatics is taking over the league license. Prizm EPL has been a hobby staple since before the pandemic in early 2020 and now we are on the 6th annual release. The format has remained unchanged with 12 cards per pack, 12 packs per box, and 12 boxes per case. As per usual the FOTL boxes released in a Dutch auction format ($750 ceiling, $250 floor, $395 OOS) last week and I'm glad to have been able to pick 2 boxes up. There are roughly 200 cases of FOTL made which makes this a very hard to find product on the secondary market. The only difference between FOTL and regular hobby ($250 MSRP) is that FOTL guarantees a blue shimmer (#'d /8) or black shimmer (1/1) base/insert as well as a blue shimmer (SSP) or black shimmer (1/1) autograph. Now some boxes (like this one) include shimmers of both base and inserts hence the even lower print run. In my opinion, these are well worth the premium since it's very hard to hit low numbered parallels in regular hobby. Furthermore, 1/1's should appear in every few boxes of FOTL (multiple per case on average) making this a fantastic product. It's an honor to open FOTL soccer product for my own personal collection and this is only the second time (last time was four years ago... woah). Anyways, I hope you enjoyed the video!
