The Milan Metro line M4 extension has been recently opened towards the city centre. It's now possible to reach the airport of Linate from San Babila, steps away from the Duomo.
The Hitachi Rail Italy Driverless Metro trains used on this line are fully automated, so you can sit on the front or rear end and see the tracks like drivers do!
