Hawaii baseball optimistic for the future, grateful in the present

Описание: As the University of Hawai‘i baseball team awaits the official conclusion of its 2025 season, the Rainbow Warriors are reflecting on continued progress under head coach Rich Hill.

While UH is considered a long shot to receive an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament owning an RPI in the high 50s—the strides made in Hill’s fourth year at the helm are undeniable.

The Rainbow Warriors won 35 or more games in back-to-back seasons for the first time since 1992. And although 13 seniors are expected to say aloha to the program, several key contributors are slated to return, including pitcher Freddy Rodriguez, who threw six strong innings in Saturday’s season finale against Cal Poly.

The strong finish which included UH winning three elimination games in a six day stretch has generated optimism for the future.
