This video shows the complete PlayStation 2 restoration process, from heavy dust and years of neglect to a clean, fully revived retro gaming console.

✨To make this video possible, I had to take an 8-hour drive back to my family’s old home a place we hadn’t lived in for almost 15 years. I remembered that a very special Original Japanese PlayStation 2 was still there, left outdoors for years, slowly collecting dust. I couldn’t leave it behind.

This console is a rare Japanese PS2 with a transparent Ocean Blue shell one of the most beautiful and nostalgic PlayStation 2 designs ever made. Because of its open lower ventilation design, dust and dirt easily enter the system. After opening it, I was honestly shocked by how dirty it had become.

💎In this video, I completely disassemble the console and perform a deep cleaning and full ASMR-style restoration. Every single part is carefully cleaned, serviced, repaired, and reassembled. The optical drive, fan, power supply, motherboard, thermal pads, and metal components are all restored step by step to bring this PlayStation 2 as close as possible to its original condition.
