Описание: The Tōzai Line is a subway line in Tokyo and Chiba Prefecture in Japan, owned and operated by Tokyo Metro. Its name literally means East-West Line. The line runs between Nakano Station in Tokyo and Nishi-Funabashi Station in Chiba. It was partially opened in 1964 and fully opened in 1969.

This line defy conventional common sense of the subway and adopts the overhead line system instead of the third rail system in order to operate directly with the Chuo / Sobu line on the ground. The overhead wire is not a copper wire but a rigid body made of aluminum alloy.
