DESIGN DETAILS
The Matlab design is based on moth flame optimization based proportional integral derivative (PID) type controller to solve the load frequency control (LFC) problem for multi-area power system consisting of PV, wind, thermal and battery units. This developed strategy leads to a flexible controller with simple structure that is easy to implement, and therefore, it can be useful for the real-world power systems. DEA is employed under such scenario to find the optimal gain value of PID to find the Integral of time multiplied absolute error using Matlab software.
