Описание: Welcome to my Music Theory Tutorials. In this music theory lesson I explain the twelfth and thirteenth Chapters in ABRSM Music Theory in Practice Grade 5. In this tutorial I give tips on how to best learn and revise the Italian, French and German musical terms and the performance directions and symbols, combining them with the terms and directions also covered in ABRSM Grades 1, 2 , 3 and 4 Music Theory. I also give a general overview of instruments of the orchestra and voice ranges.

I have been teaching music theory for over twenty five years and I’ll help you every step of the way - just as if you were sitting next to me. I have provided free a PDF information booklet with all the information you’ll need to work through the Grade 5 ABRSM Music Theory in Practise workbook, available in A4 and US Letter.

Music Theory is an integral part of any musician’s studies. Understanding the structures behind the music we play supports our practise and performance. Even if you don’t play an instrument understanding how music is constructed helps us to be a more informed listener.
