Bravo™ apple naming
Agriculture and Food Minister Dean Nalder recently announced the apple’s trademark name as Bravo™. It was bred under a national program supported by the State Government and Horticulture
Innovation Australia Limited.
Bravo™ adds to a number of premium apple varieties bred by DAFWA including Pink Lady™, one of the most popular apples in the world, Sundowner™, and Enchanted™.
Fruit West Co-operative Ltd is managing the commercialisation of the variety in Australia.
