Adrian Johnston is a Distinguished Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of New Mexico at Albuquerque and a faculty member at the Emory Psychoanalytic Institute in Atlanta. He is the author of many book including “A New German Idealism” which was published by Columbia University Press in 2018. This new book takes aim at Zizek's mistakes in an effort to buttress Zizek's overall project. Johnston, while a critic of Zizek, is clearly on Zizek's side.
