Continually looking for ways to improve recovery in athletes at all levels, James Voos, MD, UH Chair of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine teamed with Benjamin Geletka, PT, DPT and researchers to look at ACL injuries from inside the patient's body instead of just external observation techniques. Wearable technology allows clinicians to asses how oxygen returns to the muscle after surgery. For Cleveland Ballet company artist, Diego Castillo, this meant a personalized plan to get him back to his high level of performance and ready to perform in The Nutcracker.
