Hellenstein Castle is a fortress above the town of Heidenheim an der Brenz Germany. It was once the ancestral seat of the Lords of Hellenstein. Ownership changed later: in the late Middle Ages, the complex was in Bavarian hands, and at the beginning of modern times it was in Württemberg.
