Rubber Band Plane Prop Assembly Demo Part #5 More Flights

Описание: I recently completed a 4 part series following some feedback that some people are struggling to make the propeller assembly that I used on my Styrofoam Plate plane. That left me with a plane sitting in the back of my car waiting for a good location to fly it, so today we gave it a go. I think I slightly overdid the nose weight but we got some reasonable flights.

Main components

bbq skewers
paperclips
Styrofoam plates
Polystyrene pizza trays
plastic beads
short length of plastic tube from a soap dispenser bottle or similar

Clearly many parts of the world do not have polystyrene pizza trays. They are just the packaging that my local supermarkets use for pizzas. I use them because they are free and would otherwise be thrown away. You could use any polystyrene or styrofoam packaging you can find or even buy foam board from model shops. The foam I am using is about 5mm thick.

Main Tools

Hot Glue Gun
Sharp knife
Possibly a soldering iron or cigarette lighter
