Infiniti G37 Seat Recline Motor Repair

Описание: Bought a used G37. The driver's seat would go back but not come back up. In this video I'll show you how I repaired it.

I'm guessing this repair will probably work for the G35, Nissan 370Z and 350Z.

I started recording this video half way into the repair. Here are some basic steps to get where I start recording
Remove plastic caps for four bolts fastening the seat to the floor of the car.
Remove bolts fastening seat to floor of car.
Once bolts are removed, disconnect battery.
Tilt seat back to access the wire harness and unclip them from the seat to free the seat from the wiring harness.
Remove seat from car.
Carefully remove plastic covers from sides of the bottom of the seat.
Unzip the back panel of the seat back to expose the wiring cables.
Disconnect wiring harnesses from their mates.
Remove bolts on either side of the seat to detach seat back from seat bottom.
Remove push washers from either side of recline mechanism
Remove 10mm nuts from left side airbag to access the mechanism bolts underneath.
Remove bolts on either side of the seat bottom to detach the recline motor mechanism.
Remove friction washer from motor side of mechanism.
Push long gear rod from left side of mechanism and remove plastic sleeve
Remove recline motor from right side of mechanism
