Ea Nasir, the Oldest Known Complaint Letter, and Copper Ingots

Описание: We present Ea Nasir, the recipient of what is probably the oldest known complaint letter. It is on tablet written in Akkadian cuneiform found in the city of Ur (in modern day Iraq).  Estimated to be from about 1750 BCE, the complaint tablet is from a customer named Nanni, who felt that the copper ingots delivered to him were of substandard quality, and that Ea Nasir had treated his agent with contempt.
