Run down Great Scott Bowl in the Alpental backcountry taken on 2 May 2021. Pretty much as far out as you can go without serious uphill travel.
Unlike my other guide videos, this has no commentary, for two reasons. First, I don't claim to be an expert on these runs. Second, once you leave the ski area, there are unmarked hazards, and terrain can change quickly with little advance notice. Any guide through the backcountry will be out of date the moment it's posted, with new hazards possible at any given time.
Do not travel in the backcountry without extensive skiing experience and formal avalanche training. Travel with a partner and carry emergency gear. Always travel with someone who knows the area.
