New difficulty options
Disable in-game hints to remove counter icons

Regular
For players who want a more casual playthrough experiencing all the gameplay changes.

Insane
Recommended difficulty for players experienced with the Arkham franchise and looking for a challenge.

Chaos
Only for the bravest.

New Game Plus
Chaos difficulty but higher level enemies appear from the start and previously obtained gadgets and upgrades will carry over.

Permadeath
You get one chance.


Features
Campaign bosses significantly reworked
¬ Increased boss damage
¬ Less taunting and attack delays
¬ Deathstroke & Killer Croc slow motion attacks removed
¬ Firefly can no longer be cheesed with glue grenades
¬ Adjusted boss behaviour (for example Copperhead will prioritise her more dangerous moves)
Combat and gadget adjustments
¬ Power Gadgets now function as Special Combo moves similar to Arkham Knight
¬ Removed Freeflow Focus slow motion
¬ Double Special Combo move no longer activates
¬ Shockgloves damage and stun time significantly reduced. Removed blue flashing effect for improved visibility.
¬ Decreased Bat Swarm radius and damage
¬ Batarangs not useable from gargoyles and ledges
¬ Removed Sonic Batarang shock ability
¬ Adjusted damage and stun values of various moves
¬ Small adjustments to other gadgets
Gliding and grapnel boost speeds adjusted and more in line with Arkham Knight
Many late-game combat upgrades will be unlocked automatically (such as Freeflow Focus) with the Dark Knight system
Updated UI text in-game
Enemies are more brutal and intelligent
Many more adjustments to discover

Notes:
'Normal' graphics settings text will appear as 'Insane'. This is due to the same 'Normal' text being derived from the difficulty settings with 'Insane' difficulty replacing 'Normal' difficulty.
Thug strike damage may be minimal in the beginning of "Regular" and "Insane" campaigns, but will go up as you pass the tutorial phase of the game.
The upgrade system could not be edited. Use the "debugremovearmour" command to remove all armour upgrades if preferred. Requires debug mod to be installed.
100% completion may not be obtainable. This is untested as the main focus was the campaign.
