Replacing Engine Mounts: 4WD 2004-2008 Ford F150 WITHOUT removing Manifold/Exhaust | SUPER DIY

Описание: The space is tight, but it's possible. Just watch the how-to guide. This is useful for 2004-2008 model year F150 trucks. This truck is a 4wd (or 4x4) 4.6L V8 F-150. This is the same for the 5.4L Triton except a few small details like throttle body needs to be removed on the 5.4L. Oil pan: I suggested a 4x4 block of wood, which will work, but a 4x6 or larger surface would be MUCH better for lifting by the oil pan.

I ended up bending the oil pan from improperly supporting it from only one edge. I was impatient and thought that I can lift the engine without removing the crossmember. When the crossmember is removed, there is enough room to properly support the engine from the oil pan.
