In Silchar, Assam, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said Congress failed to deliver development despite decades in power. He claimed that in the last 10 years, the BJP-led government achieved what Congress could not in 50 years. Shah added that in the past five years, Assam saw 14 km of roads built daily, along with hundreds and thousands of bridges, including four major new ones.
