Former MLC and BRS leader K. Kavitha, during a press conference, made serious allegations against Madhavaram Krishna Rao and his son Praneeth, linked to Praneeth Pranav Construction, regarding a massive 70–71 acre villa venture. Kavitha alleged that a government-certified 10-acre lake mentioned in 2021 RERA documents later reduced to 6 acres, raising questions about the missing land. She further claimed that government roads were encroached, a compound wall was built around the entire project, and public access to the lake was blocked, turning a village water body into a private amenity for villa owners.

Kavitha challenged the state government to act decisively, stating that if there are no political links or protection, authorities should immediately restore open access to the lake. These allegations have triggered intense debate around real estate regulation, lake protection, RERA compliance, and political accountability in Hyderabad. As of now, the accused parties have not publicly responded to these claims.
