Recently, we hosted Ashley Momanyi Kerubo, one of Kenya’s top 2025 KCSE students, who aspires to pursue a career mechatronics engineering. Over two days, Ashley immersed herself in our operations, engaging with our engineers and leadership team, and experiencing electric bus assembly, telematics, and charging infrastructure firsthand.
Before this visit, Ashley had met only one mechatronics engineer, yet her ambition was unwavering. What she lacked was not drive, but exposure.
As we continue opening our doors to young women like Ashley, we hope to help bridge the gap between aspiration and access , empowering more young women to see themselves shaping the future of science and technology.
