The Smartele 16/12" portable, battery-operated floor fan is one of SetPower's newest releases. The floor fan comes with a 2,500mAh lithium-ion battery pack on the rear of the fan. This allows it to run for up to 30 hours on its minimum setting and for 3-4 hours on its maximum setting (43W max).

I can say that this product has quality in its construction, as its frame is made entirely out of metal. All of my floor fans at home (I have three that I use) are made entirely out of plastic. Using this lightweight metal is ideal for longterm use because it's not prone to breaking like a plastic fan could easily do.

Besides the materials used, the fan works well overall. It lasts long for using a small battery and it is nearly completely silent. As mentioned in the video, both the 16" and 12" Smartele fans have the same noise level of 45dB at the minimum power setting and 63dB at the max setting.

The 16" variant that I tested is about 21" wide and 19" tall with its frame. If this is too large of a fan for you, the 12" version may be ideal since it has the same elements as the 16" model except for its smaller size.

Overall, this floor fan is ideal for power outages at home as well as off-grid use with camper van and/or RV users. It can also be functional in several additional settings, but I see the fan being most valuable to these situations.
