TRF (The Resistance Front) claims responsibility for Pahalgam attack, killing 26 tourists. TRF is a militant group linked to Hafiz Saeed's Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). TRF came into existence as an online entity following the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019. Its leadership includes Sajid Jatt, Sajjad Gul and Salim Rehmani, all associated with LeT. TRF recruits youths for terrorist purposes online, it is also infamous for smuggling narcotics and weapons. TRF has carried out several attacks against civilians, security forces and political leaders in J&K. As per sources, TRF is maintained by the state of Pakistan, particularly by ISI.
