Padma Shree Dr Navjivan Rastogi represents the contemporary ingenious Indian scholarship dedicated to unravelling the profound Abhinavan thought. Having retired in 1999 from Lucknow University as Professor and Head of the Department of Sanskrit, Pali and Prakrit languages as well as the Honorary Director, Abhinavaupta Institute of Aesthetics and Śaiva Philosophy, his passion for foundational research on Abhinavagupta remains as tireless as ever.

Professor Rajnish Kumar Mishra is a factulty of School of Sanskrit and Indic Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). His research area includes Kashmir Shavisim and Abhinavagupta’s Poetics with Reference to Tantraloka.

पद्मश्री डॉ. नवजीवन रस्तोगी काश्मीर शैवदर्शन और अभिनवगुप्त के चिन्तन की गम्भीर बौद्धिक परम्परा के अन्तरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर चर्चित व समादृत अध्येता हैँ। वे लखनऊ विश्वविद्यालय के संस्कृत तथा प्राकृत भाषा विभाग के आचार्य और अध्यक्ष व अभिनवगुप्त स्वतन्त्रकलाशास्त्रीय एवं शैव दार्शनिक संस्थान, लखनऊ विश्वविद्यालय के मानक निदेशक रहे हैँ।

प्रोफेसर रजनीश कुमार मिश्र जवाहरलाल नेहरू विश्वविद्यालय मेँ संस्कृत के आचार्य तथा भारतविद् हैँ। काश्मीर शिवाद्वयवाद और अभिनवगुप्त का तंत्रालोक मेँ उन्होँने महत्त्वपूर्ण शोध किया है।
