Harihar Cave (one of the ancient caves of Nepal), located at an altitude of 1300 meters above sea level, is located in Pokhara Metropolitan City, Ward No. 20, Bhalam, Kaski. The cave has its own history, overshadowed by lack of publicity.
It is believed that the name of the ashram was changed to Harihar Cave after the name of Ishta Dev Harihar and Sadhu's meditation room in the secret dark part of the inner temple (called cave). Not only nepalese people but also religious tourists from different countries visit the ashram every year during Balachaturdashi mela.
