The first performance comes from the Mulan Drum Team, presenting a brand-new piece titled Dragon Boat Race. Inspired by the real-life journey of the Portland Fire Dragon Boat Team, their powerful drumming brings this dynamic tradition to life with energy and spirit.
The second performance features the talented children of Winnie Chinese Dance. In just two short years, this group has flourished into a dance group with over 100 young students proudly carrying on our cultural traditions.
The third performance is by twin sisters Arianna and Brianna from the OCC Dragonfly Diabolo Team. Their incredible skill and artistry make this performance one of the finest you'll see outside of China.
The fourth performance features more talented children from Winnie Chinese Dance, presenting ‘Radiance of the Dunhuang Maidens'.
The final performance is presented by the Huayun Art Society. They perform a Chinese song and dance titled 'As Wished.' The lyrics honor our parents' generation, whose struggles and dedication laid the foundation for the better life we enjoy today.
