Описание: The Transtheoretical Model (TTM), also known as the Stages of Change Model, is a health psychology model developed by Prochaska and DiClemente. It explains how individuals change health-related behaviors by moving through a series of stages rather than changing all at once. The model identifies stages such as precontemplation, contemplation, preparation, action, and maintenance, with an optional termination stage. TTM highlights that behavior change is a gradual, dynamic process influenced by decision-making, confidence (self-efficacy), and strategies used to adopt and sustain healthy behaviors. It is widely applied in areas such as smoking cessation, diet modification, exercise adoption, and substance abuse prevention.
