Today, on 8 December 2025, a 10-hour special discussion is being held in the Lok Sabha on 150 years of Vande Mataram during the winter session of Parliament. The discussion will focus on the historical, cultural and contribution of the national song to the freedom struggle. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver the inaugural address of the discussion at 12 noon. He had launched the year-long celebration of this anniversary on 7 November 2025 itself.

आज, 8 दिसंबर 2025 को, संसद के शीतकालीन सत्र के दौरान वंदे मातरम के 150 वर्ष पूरे होने पर लोकसभा में 10 घंटे की विशेष चर्चा हो रही है। यह चर्चा राष्ट्रीय गीत के ऐतिहासिक, सांस्कृतिक और स्वतंत्रता संग्राम में योगदान पर केंद्रित होगी। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी दोपहर 12 बजे चर्चा का उद्घाटन भाषण देंगे। उन्होंने 7 नवंबर 2025 को ही इस वर्षगांठ के साल-भर के उत्सव का शुभारंभ किया था।
