Mars is 225 million kilometers away. Alpha Centauri is 40 trillion. That's not just farther - it's a completely different category of distance that breaks everything we know about space travel.
In this calming long-form space documentary, we walk through the real physics separating interplanetary travel from interstellar travel. No hype. No science fiction. Just the numbers - and what they actually mean for humanity's future in space.
We start with Mars: the Hohmann transfer orbit, the delta-v budget, SpaceX Starship, NASA's Artemis architecture, and why every robotic mission we've sent proves a crewed mission is achievable with technology we already have.
Then we turn to Alpha Centauri - and everything falls apart. Voyager 1 would need 73,000 years to get there. The Parker Solar Probe, the fastest object ever built, would need 6,700 years.
