I wanted to do this kind of AU story of Lexa's life before she became Commander and then her perspective during season 1 - season 3.

Read a theory somewhere on tumblr that said that Lexa was aware of her death even before it happened because the commanders before her kept showing it in her dreams and thoughts so I wanted to include that as well.
