4. HOA’s are the norm here. In most neighborhoods, whether you’re buying new construction or something built in the last 20 years, you’re most likely joining an HOA.

5. The importance of choosing the right city/suburb — Meridian, Star, Eagle, etc. Each offers a totally different lifestyle.
