In this episode of Corvette Revival, we start bringing a faded 1979 Corvette back to life like i did this 1978 Corvette : • I saved this 1978 Corvette!
The paint is tired and oxidized, the interior needs dye work, and this C3 has clearly been sitting. The plan? Compound and polish the exterior, refresh the interior, and see what we’re really working with.
But here’s the twist — this Corvette already has a mild cam in it. I didn’t install it… I discovered it. And when we fired it up, it had that perfect lope you want from a small block C3.
Sometimes the best surprises come with the car.
