Solee is the musical alias of German DJ and producer Normen Flaskamp, an artist whose work sits at the intersection of emotion, melody, and dancefloor energy. Based in Germany, Solee has been an active force in electronic music since the late 1990s, steadily shaping a sound that is both deep and driving, introspective yet club-focused.

In 2006, he launched the Solee project and founded Parquet Recordings, a label that quickly became a respected home for melodic techno and tech house. The label’s first release, Solee’s “Impressed,” set the tone for what would become a long-running catalogue defined by musical depth, careful craftsmanship, and a strong sense of atmosphere. Over the years, Parquet Recordings grew into an internationally recognized imprint, supporting both Solee’s own releases and the work of like-minded artists.

Solee’s productions are known for their storytelling quality — layered melodies, subtle emotional tension, and grooves designed for long nights on the dancefloor. His music has been released on influential labels such as Bedrock Records, Get Physical Music, Sudbeat, Noir Music, and Yoshitoshi, and has been supported by DJs around the world. His discography includes multiple albums, EPs, and remixes, reflecting a steady artistic evolution rather than trends.

In 2021, Solee opened a new chapter with the launch of Future Romance, a label created to explore a more contemporary and forward-leaning melodic sound, while staying true to the emotional core that defines his work.

As a DJ, Solee brings the same narrative approach to his sets, blending hypnotic rhythms with melodic flow. He continues to perform internationally, connecting with audiences through music that is thoughtful, immersive, and built for the club.
