Inventor of the Vinduino irrigation sensors: Reinier van der Lee

He is the inventor of Vinduino, a system that uses water sensors and a handheld device to reduce water wasted in agricultural irrigation. The project is inexpensive and widely adaptable. It was named the Best Product winner during the 2015 Hackaday Prize.

The Vinduino project has won a cash prize of $100k, a six-month residency at the Supplyframe Design Lab in Pasadena, and help forming relationships needed to move the project forward.
