Dorit is a board member of Homeless Not Toothless (HNT), a nonprofit founded by Dr. Jay Grossman, a cosmetic dentist in Brentwood CA.
HNT was founded in 1991 after Dr. Grossman completed a tour of duty in the US Navy and wanted to raise the pride and dignity of veterans without dental benefits. Soon after, Sharon Stone became a board member, and the organization expanded to help foster children and women of domestic abuse. As of 2022, the organization has helped treat over 102,000 patients, with services valued at over $8 million dollars.
