Here I show you how to process a customer overpayment in Quickbooks Online (QBO). There are a few steps required to process an overpayment transaction in Quickbooks Online. You will need to create a credit note in the QBO system for the customer overpayment. And the method will change depending on whether the credit note will be offset against a new invoice or whether the credit note will be refunded back to the customer. I will show you all of this.
