Starting in Summer 2014, the American Tap Dance Foundation will accept students into our newly developed Tap Teacher Training Program, based in the Copasetic Canon, culminating in a Level 1 Certificate. This program is for tap dance teachers and advanced dancers who wish to become teachers and provides comprehensive training in teaching rhythm tap technique, repertory, and performance skills.
Tap Teacher Training Certificate Program includes:
tap technique
Copasetic Canon repertory
pedagogy
music concepts, tap composition, improvisation
tap history
