Описание: 2026 Monterey Park Lunar New Year Festival is located at Downtown Monterey Park California, cohosted with World Journal, an Asian major newspaper. This year is the year of horse for lunar year calendar. The free admission event is held from Saturday, January 31st to Sunday, Feb 1st and street block along Garvey Avenue between Garfield and Alhambra Avenue. Totally over 200 vendors join this event including 50 food vendors. Monterey Park Lunar New Year Festival is the largest Lunar New Year Festival in California.
I take the free shuttle bus from Mark Keppel High School parking lot to avoid traffic and parking is free. Visitors can get a map and information about live entertainment timetable at the entrance near Garfield and Alhambra Avenue at World Journal Booth. There is an amusement rides section near Lincoln Avenue and Garvey Avenue. Each game or ride will need 4 to 5 tickets to play. Each ticket is $1 and no refund is available. The temperature in city of Monterey Park, California, is surprisingly over 81°F with lots of sunshine these two days event.
