Описание: This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. "It is through the senses that we create our reality, so the quality of our sensory input defines the quality of our experience of that reality," says Martin.
Martin believes that our quality of life, our health, our focus, our creativity, and all our intelligences are deeply dependent on sensorial refinement, and that we can strengthen any aspect of our lives through sensory training. By training methods that synthesize sound, emotions, and physical movement we can sharpen our senses to promote both a higher working performance and a higher quality of life.

Martin has taught at all levels of education from film school and theatrics to the technical and pedagogical universities of Denmark. He has an MA in Musicology and Classic Civilisation and has taken about 40 educations and courses bringing him as much as 27 professional titles.
He has written extensively on learning and creativity in a range of publications, including books and feature articles as well as consulting businesses, such as Lego, Bang & Olufsen, SAS Airlines, Novo Nordisk, and Haldor Topsøe. He has appeared in well over a hundred theater-, film-, and TV productions as stunt man, stunt coordinator, actor or director.
Martin has developed several training programs and is currently head of the Sensoric Training Institute in Denmark.

About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
