We arrived at the resort late at night, and to our surprise, the check-in process was simple and straightforward, taking only a few minutes before we proceeded down to our suite, which was lovely, clean, and had a fantastic ocean view. Our butler did an excellent job assisting us in booking all of our restaurants, late check-out, and arranging a massage at the Plaza Spa. The amenities and surroundings were clean and well-organized; we thoroughly enjoyed the lobby bar and the beach bar, which had friendly staff, delicious coffee, and well-made cocktails. If you want a quiet pool environment, the upper pool is ideal for you, as opposed to the lower pool, which has more entertainment and is generally more lively. The resort features three restaurants, one of which, "Marche" Restaurant, served breakfast to all guests and lunch for Diamond Club as a buffet. The food at this resort was good in comparison to many other resorts we've visited in Cuba, but we didn't like the lack of a full buffet for all three meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). We think adding a buffet with an inside grill station where we can order straight from the cook will be a significant improvement and will keep everyone pleased. The 24-hour snack bar was a good addition for us; however, choices were sometimes limited. The "Culinary Experience" Restaurant offered the best food, which was accompanied by a pleasant ambiance and excellent service. The resort's crown jewel is, of course, the Santa Maria beach, with its white sand and crystal blue water, which we believe is one of the best in Cuba. There are plenty of palapas and beach chairs available at all hours of the day. Those who prefer walking on the beach can find several kilometers of barrier-free beach to discover and enjoy. In conclusion, we had an excellent time here and will return if we want a laid-back, relaxing holiday in the sun.

Service – 4.5/5 Stars (Overall, the service was outstanding, except some minor staff training issues at the buffet in the morning.)
Buffet – 4/5 Stars – (Only breakfast is served to all guests, which we think is a disadvantage.)
Restaurants – 4.5/5 Stars (If possible, we recommend booking most dinner reservations at the "Culinary Experience" Restaurant, which serves the greatest food in an enjoyable atmosphere.)
Rooms – 5/5 Stars (The suite was beautiful and well-maintained, with everything working well. A nice television with a good channel selection, a daily restocked mini-fridge, and a good working air conditioner. Thank you to our maid for doing a wonderful job cleaning and organizing our suite every day. She also changed our beach towels when we needed them.)
Sleep Quality – 5/5 Stars (Perfect soft mattress.)
Cleanliness – 5/5 Stars (Organized and clean, with each staff member always contributing.)
Internet- 4.5/5 Stars (Good speed, with the occasional loss of signal.)
