The Awa Odori Hall

Описание: The Awa Odori is one of Shikoku’s biggest summer festivals. This popular bash is held in mid-August in Tokushima city. The basic dance is very simple, but with some choreography and a lot of people, it becomes a magnificent and immersive spectacle.

You may not be in Tokushima in August, but you can get an authentic taste of the dance whenever you’re in Tokushima city, at the Awa Odori Hall. It has a museum with lots of interesting exhibits, and a theatre where the dance is performed. The group invites the audience onto the floor to try the dance.
