Описание: 64-year-old Alan Jeal as found dead on Perranporth beach, Cornwall, England, on the 25th February 2014. He was nearly naked, with a sock and headphones stuffed in his mouth, having suffered significant yet unexplained injuries.

To this day detectives are unable to say whether he was murdered, took his own life or his death was an accident. The mystery was featured on the BBC's Crimewatch programme, but police got no closer to solving the puzzle of why Alan died.

After an investigation which lasted six months, police wound down their inquiries and concluded that Alan's death was “unexplained”.
