Nightwing Beats Batman, and I'll Prove It.

This video hopefully comes across a little in-between a typical upload and one of my live streams; longer form with more stream-of-consciousness information but ideally still engaging. I think I reached a bit of a bottleneck in terms of uploads, where I’ve improved as an editor over the years but I’ve also gotten so particular that it might lower the threshold of uploads I can sustain and therefore lessen my ability to talk about more and more subjects.
I’ve also already provided at least over an hour of content proving Nightwing beats Batman, so consider this video a very lengthy response with more transparency that I can offer rather than when accounting for entertainment as the top priority. I think the sheer amount of information here makes it worth it on its own, as I’ve been living and breathing this stuff professionally since roughly April of 2020. That’s when I first started accruing Nightwing/Batman/DC Comics scans, interviews, etc. Many of the sources below can be found to read on the internet archive, some of them have a direct hyperlink. Others I went out of my way to buy myself.
I think people downplay Nightwing severely, and many people are just misinformed or see the claim that he beats Batman as incredulous in the face of the latter’s far greater mass consumption or reputation. However, I think this video does a good job illuminating that everyone’s favorite Batman writers and their works, the ones you have to thank for his status, are the reason why I think this conclusion is most valid.
I don’t personally think you can be a rational and openminded person and still disagree with my overall thesis so, I’m just going to link back to or cite this video from here on when making any Nightwing VS matches or content in the future; so I don’t need to indefinitely repeat myself.
