Описание: Forty-eight years ago, the Blizzard of '78 hammered our region with heavy snow, leaving thousands of people stranded for days.

It was the kind of emergency that required a heroic response, and a local restaurant owner and his staff were up for the challenge.

Jimmy Burchfield owned a restaurant called 'The Classic' on Charles Street in North Providence, and prided himself on staying open even in unfavorable weather conditions.
