It was quite a popular product before its withdrawal of course by LIC and don't forget it was in fact being marketed as an easy-to-understand product hence the word 'Saral Yojana' but recently of course it was caught in some legal trouble, it was in fact to dragged to the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court however said that they are not going to interfere in the matter so what exactly was the allegation against the Jeevan Saral Yojana especially when it was pretty popular and of course was owned by a lot of policyholders.
